“A Note from the Author”
A project by David Trammel
This is not a collection of random articles. It is a developing field guide to navigating a world that is becoming more complex and harder to predict. The focus will be on understanding first, then taking action.
First, we discuss how and why we got to this point. Lectures will examine the underlying conditions shaping work, money, and daily life, to help you separate the signal from the noise in a landscape filled with constant distraction.
From there, the project moves toward practical adaptation through structured workshops and exercises to help you integrate your new understandings. Each section builds on the last, moving from explanation to application.
This work is being released in a deliberate sequence and will continue to grow over time. It is designed to be read in order so that each step contributes to a clearer understanding of what is changing and why it matters.
Start at the beginning and move forward deliberately. The structure matters.
“A Harsh World”
Lecture 1 – “When The System Stops Making Sense”
Effort no longer guarantees results the way it once did. This lecture examines how changes in work and economic systems have disrupted stability and weakened the connection between effort and outcome, leaving many unsure how to interpret what they are experiencing or how to respond.

Workshop 1 – “A Financial Self-Audit”
This workshop moves from understanding to action. It begins with a structured review of your current financial position, helping you identify where your resources are going and how to adjust them to improve stability, awareness, and control over your day-to-day financial decisions.
